The Cybertill team had the pleasure of attending the Charity Retail Association Conference, A huge event within the charity sector that brings together so many passionate individuals and organisations dedicated to making a difference. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our customers and build new relationships within the charity retail community.
As one of the headline sponsors and proud corporate members of the Charity Retail Association, we are deeply committed to supporting the vital work of charities across the UK. Memberships not only allow us to contribute to meaningful causes, but also gaining valuable insights into the challenges and innovations shaping the charity sector. This collaboration allows us to grow as a socially responsible business while championing the sustainability, inclusivity, and compassion that charity retail embodies.
During the two days we were at the Charity Retail Association event, we unveiled our brand-new stand featuring fresh branding and engaged with many attendees from across the charity sector. We also had the pleasure of attending the Charity Retail Awards Ceremony, presented at a gala dinner on the first day of the event.
We arrived on site on Tuesday and spent the day setting up the stand, ready for Wednesday when we would meet everyone attending the event. On Wednesday morning, the team returned to the stand to complete the setup and add the goodies to the table. Once the event opened, we had the opportunity to meet and showcase our latest products to numerous people from across the charity sector. One of the new products we unveiled was our Lost Prevention Dashboard, which identifies patterns in stock loss and behaviour to help reduce shrinkage, strengthen controls, and protect revenue.
Later in the day, we had the privilege of attending the Charity Retail Awards Ceremony, undoubtedly the highlight of the whole event. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible work of charities across the sector. A huge congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to the judges for selecting such outstanding recipients!
On the final day, it was all about engaging with even more attendees and showcasing more of our products, including our Customer Display Screens, which we’re excited for customers to finally start benefiting from. These screens help streamline the checkout process, enhance transparency, and even feature an electronic donor sign-up, which is incredibly useful for any charity looking to improve Gift Aid contributions.
During the event, we also gave away lots of goodies and offered a chance to win a Gift Aid training course, led by our expert Training Manager with over 18 years of experience in the charity sector.
Not only that, the winner would also receive an iPad to support the completion of their training, perfect for accessing course materials and taking notes.

We received lots of valuable feedback on our Charity EPoS System and are ready to take on board everything each person shared with us.
