Cybertill has been included on the London Stock Exchange Group’s “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.” This is a landmark report that identifies some of the UK’s most exciting and dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises.
Companies were selected on a wide set of criteria including positive growth in revenue over the last four years, an increase in employee figures, contract wins or patent filings.
Cybertill has achieved many highs throughout the economic downturn including doubling profits in 2012/13 and the previous financial year to that Cybertill grew revenues by 63%. Over that period Cybertill’s headcount has almost doubled to a headcount of 85 people.
Xavier Rolet, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group commented; “The term SME describes a very broad church of businesses, from the high-street greengrocer to the high-tech manufacturer and exporter. Within this group of more than 4.5 million UK companies there is an exciting subset of fast-growing, dynamic businesses. These “gazelle” companies, as the CBI calls them, or the “vital six per cent”, as think-tank Nesta describes them, are of exceptional importance to UK economic growth and job creation.”
Ian Tomlinson, CEO and founder of Cybertill explained. “We are extremely proud to be recognised in this ground breaking report. Cybertill has excelled, even in a difficult economic climate. Our cloud based retail software has also helped many retailers thrive, even when the high street is struggling, and more importantly embrace multi-channel retail. Our innovative solutions are helping retailers run more efficient and customer focused businesses.”
