Cybertill, the UK’s leading EPoS and ecommerce provider, has won SME of the Year at the Knowsley Business Awards, beating off 18 other entrants.
Knowsley based Cybertill was awarded SME Business of the Year at the local Knowsley Business Awards on Friday 1st October. The awards, sponsored by Knowsley Chamber of Commerce, reward excellence within a large and thriving business community in Liverpool. Cybertill was one of four businesses shortlisted from 19 in total. The judges were particularly impressed how Cybertill clearly benefits retail clients commercially, helping them to manage their businesses more effectively. The awards were a hugely successful evening with other high profile winners, including Jaguar Land Rover, DHL and Vertex.
Based in Knowsley, Cybertill is one of the UK’s leading suppliers to retailers up and down the country, providing the tools for them to trade in store, online and over the phone. Cybertill is unique in that it delivers its EPoS software (software for tills in store at point of sale) via a broadband connection. This brings with it several advantages. Retailers have access to live sales data (as most retailers poll data overnight). This also means retailers can access Cybertill from any internet location, allowing them to work and operate from wherever is convenient for them.
Founder and current Chairman of Cybertill, Ian Tomlinson, commented. “This is fantastic recognition for the company. The judges recognized the company’s groundbreaking hosted EPoS solution and the benefits this brings retailers, as well as rewarding the businesses continued and successful growth. This success is attributable to many factors including personnel, experience but also our unique product offering. This approach has helped us stand apart from the competition and this unique offering is central to other ongoing projects, which I believe will fuel our ongoing success.”
